G* Network Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

G* Network (“G* Network”, “we”, “us”) operates a music-promotion marketplace at gnetwork.tech. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over your data.

2. Data We Collect

Account data: name, email, password hash, role (artist / creator / admin), profile details you provide.

Campaign data: tracks you submit, creator assignments, posted video URLs, campaign performance metrics.

Payment data: processed by Stripe. We store transaction IDs and amounts; we do not store full card numbers.

Usage data: standard log data (IP address, user agent, timestamps) and product analytics via PostHog to improve the service.

3. TikTok Data

If you connect your TikTok account using TikTok Login Kit, we request only the scopes needed to operate G* Network. With your consent we read:

  • user.info.basic — Open ID, Union ID, display name, avatar URL.
  • user.info.profile — public username, bio, profile deep link.
  • user.info.stats — follower count, following count, likes count, video count.
  • video.list — your public videos' metadata and engagement counts (views, likes, comments, shares) for campaign performance reporting.

We do not request scopes that allow us to post content on your behalf. We do not access any private content. We use TikTok data solely to verify ownership of the connected account, to populate your creator profile, to verify and report on the performance of campaign posts you have voluntarily submitted, and to match creators with relevant campaigns.

4. How We Use Data

  • To provide, operate, and improve the G* Network service.
  • To match artists with creators whose audience and content fit their tracks.
  • To verify campaign deliverables and produce performance reports for the artist who funded the campaign.
  • To process payments, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
  • To send transactional emails (account, campaign updates) and opted-in product announcements.

5. How We Share Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract: Supabase (database & auth), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), PostHog (analytics), and Anthropic / Vercel AI Gateway / OpenAI / Google (AI matching, none of which store your data for model training under our agreements).
  • Artists who fund a campaign receive aggregate performance reports limited to the campaigns they paid for and the creators they were matched with.
  • Legal authorities where required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

6. Data Retention

We keep account and campaign data for as long as your account is active. Campaign performance metrics are retained for up to 24 months for reporting and audit purposes, after which they are aggregated or deleted. TikTok access tokens are stored encrypted and refreshed only while your account is connected; they are permanently deleted within 7 days of disconnection.

7. Security

Data is stored in our Supabase Postgres database, encrypted at rest and in transit. Access tokens are stored encrypted. Access to production data is restricted to authorized G* Network staff.

8. Your Rights

You can at any time:

  • Access or correct your account data from your dashboard.
  • Disconnect a connected TikTok account from your settings — this revokes our access tokens and stops further data collection.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hello@gnetwork.tech. We will action verified requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Where applicable under laws such as GDPR or CCPA, request a copy of your data, restrict processing, or object to processing.

9. International Transfers

G* Network operates from the United States and the United Kingdom. By using the service you understand your data may be processed in jurisdictions whose data protection laws may differ from your own.

10. Children

G* Network is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Independence from Third-Party Platforms

G* Network is an independent service. We are not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with TikTok, Spotify, Apple Music, or any other third-party platform referenced in the service.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
